Three-Point Locking

One key turn, three locks thrown down the frame.

What it is

Three-Point Locking, explained

A door that locks only at the handle pivots at its weakest point when forced. Three-point locking throws bolts at the top, middle and bottom of the frame off a single key turn, spreading any attack across the whole door edge.

It comes standard on our hinged security doors, paired with a keyed deadlock, anti-bump Euro cylinder and steel fixed-pin hinges. It is also why a properly fitted security door beats any aftermarket gadget: the strength is in the frame.

"Franz was excellent in all aspects of the service he provides - prompt, clear and open in all his communication, and in the delivery and installation of our new screen door. We are very pleased, even if it is a bit noisier given the choices we made - which Franz said it would be!"
