It's the brand locksmiths and builders fit on their own homes. Trade-grade models are 300,000-cycle tested, weather sealed to IP65-IP66, and backed by a 24-month warranty.

Can you fit a smart lock to my existing door?
In most cases, yes. Deadbolts swap over to the Kedron or Ashgrove, screen and security doors take the Ultra-Secua, and standard timber or metal doors from 35mm thick suit the rest of the range. Book a free measure and we'll confirm on the spot.
Does it still work if the internet drops out?
Yes. Fingerprint, PIN, fob and key access all work with no internet at all. Wi-Fi (via a McGrath gateway) only adds remote control and monitoring from your phone when you're away.
What about batteries and getting locked out?
The locks are battery powered and the range includes mechanical key override among its access types. We walk you through battery changes and backup access at install so there are no surprises.
Can I give someone access for just a day?
Yes. The McGrath app issues temporary, timed or recurring codes, so the cleaner gets Tuesdays, a tradie gets one afternoon, and grandparents get school pickup hours.
I run an Airbnb. Is this for me?
Very much so. The app is built on TTLock, which integrates with popular booking platforms, so each guest can get their own code for their exact stay dates.
How tough are they really?
This is trade hardware: 300,000-cycle tested, IP65-IP66 weather sealing, stainless anti-saw bolts on the deadbolts, fire-rated options, and Australian-registered designs throughout the trade-grade range.
What's the warranty?
Trade-grade models carry a 24-month manufacturer's warranty (the Smart Basic series carries 12 months), on top of our own installation workmanship guarantee.
