With a Wi-Fi gateway you can issue codes, check the door and watch arrivals from anywhere, including the other side of the world.

Front doors: the Albion or fire-rated Hamilton handle constant guest turnover, 300,000-cycle tested with IP65-IP66 weather sealing.

Existing deadbolts: the Kedron swaps straight into most deadbolt installations, no new door needed.

Security screen doors: the Ultra-Secua retrofits to most screen doors and pairs with the main lock, so one code opens both.

Apartments and strata: fire-rated and DDA-compliant models (Windsor, Stafford, Bardon) tick the compliance boxes for high-density buildings.

How it works

Hosting-ready in one visit

1. Property assessment. We check your doors, deadbolts and screen doors and recommend the right locks, free, on site, usually within two business days.

2. Install and configure. We fit the hardware, connect the gateway, set up your host account, cleaner codes and integrations.

3. Hand over working. You watch us issue and test a guest code before we leave. From then on it's two taps per booking, or fully automatic.

Host FAQ
How do guests get their code?
The McGrath app issues timed codes that match the booking: active at check-in, dead at check-out. With a booking platform integration, codes can be generated automatically for each reservation.
What if a guest's phone is flat?
Codes are entered on the lock's keypad, no app or phone needed on the guest side. You just send them the number.
Do I need Wi-Fi at the property?
Codes and fingerprints work with no internet. Add a McGrath Wi-Fi gateway if you want to issue codes remotely, see the activity log live, or check the door from anywhere.
Can my cleaner have permanent access?
Yes. Recurring access (say, every changeover day) for cleaners and maintenance, separate from guest codes, and revocable any time.
What about my security screen door?
This is our specialty. The Ultra-Secua fits most existing screen doors and pairs with the main door lock so guests unlock both with one code.
I have several properties. Does this scale?
One app runs every lock across every property, with per-property access lists and logs. Add a KeySafe at each address for an emergency physical key.
