What's included
A security window screen is a mesh barrier built to the same standards as our doors, fitted over the window. The glass can stay open for cross-flow all night while the opening stays sealed against intruders, and the view through modern stainless mesh stays remarkably clear.
Sliding, awning, casement and double-hung windows all take screens; fixed frames suit most rooms, hinged frames suit windows you need to reach through, and bedrooms should always get the quick-release escape latch.
Most families start with the children's bedrooms: secure airflow on hot nights plus a fire-escape path, then do the rest of the house once they feel the difference.
